Since then I never trying to reduce ads number in my page. I always use three ads unit and three link units. the most popular ads unit which having most higher CTR is 336 x 280 large rectangle, the second is 300 x 250 small rectangle. The third is 728 x 90. That mean you should using 336 x 280 large rectangle, or if you don’t have room use the second 300 x 250 small rectangle. I suggest always using three ads above, stay away from another.
When you’re browsing and came to visit a site, the first place you’re looking is the left top corner, isn’t you? So why don’t you put your ads there? The top left corner is the first place will visitor see when they come to your blog . put your ads where your visitor will force to see them. You can put one link unit in the top of page which look like navigational link of your site or blog.
Put one ads before content but after the title a good options too. Or one large rectangle ads below the title but above content in your three first post its better. You can do that by follow http://www.tips-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com instruction. But you need to change your ads code with :

Now just follow
blogger tips instruction where to put your ads. The ads will automatically appear below the title but above the content in your first three post.
Never hide your ads, force your visitor to see them. The more visitor you gain to see the ads, the more chances your visitor will click them, that mean more money you will make.
Remember, visitor don’t visit your blog for ads. The want good content. If you want visitor to click, make the ads look like an integral part of your content. To get more clicks, you’ve got to get your visitors to notice the ads by putting them in the right place and making them not look like a web advertising.
Don’t forget to make the border and background colors of your ads match the
background color of the web page on which the ads will appear, always try to improve, finally you will find the best ads format for your blog. Or if you confusing why don’t you do as an expert do? See a good site, see your favourite site, see a few site in the first page of google search for the same keyword with yours, watch correctly, where they put the ads? what color they used? What link color they used? What their background color? Etc..
